Infrared therapy uses infrared heaters to emit infrared light experienced as radiant heat which is absorbed by the surface of the skin. Saunas heat the body primarily by conduction and convection from the heated air and by radiation of the heated surfaces in the sauna room. The infrared heat focuses on your body directly, targeting your muscles and joints, relaxing them and providing pain relief, increasing mobility of sore and tired muscles, and helping your body recover from injury and pain in less time.

Includes Chromotherapy LED Light Therapy & Music (bring your favorite CD or use our AUX cord and plug in your phone with your favorite tunes)

LED (light-emitting diode) therapy is one of the most popular treatments in the medical industry.  Also referred to as Near Infrared Therapy and/or Phototherapy, it is a NON-INVASIVE procedure that promotes the body's natural healing process.

The use of color in medicine is seen in almost every branch of traditional healing.  Individuals tend to respond differently to certain colors depending on their native culture.  However, some colors have an amazingly cross-culture influence -- for example all humans naturally associate pale blue with clear weather, and therefore feel calm in the presence of this soothing color. Health Mate saunas add a new dimension of color therapy by allowing users to select one specific color or change them on a whim.  When color is dispersed throughout the sauna it creates a unique energy with the proven ability to heighten or alter an individual's mood.

How it Works:

LED therapy uses a NON-THERMAL light that penetrates deep into the skin.  As the light is quickly absorbed, it produces energy in the cells that stimulates them to undergo cellular regeneration.

Safety:

LED therapy is safe for use and can be used long term because it doesn't produce heat or UV rays.

Uses:

LED therapy is used in treatments to correct acne, scaring, signs of aging and skin discoloration. LED is used to heal wounds, burns, Seasonal Affective Disorder (a type of depression) as well as many other emotional disorders which have been documented.

Cosmetic Benefits:

Redd LED light therapy stimulates production of collagen and elastin, which plumps the skin, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves a healthy, youthful glow. It also activates cellular activity which improves skin disorders.

Medical Benefits:

Research done by NASA concludes that cells treated with LED (light emitting diode) grow 150% to 200% faster than cells without, speeding the healing process. In addition, LED therapy reduces Pain and Inflammation.

White - This is the most common color to be used in LED color therapy, due to the fact that the three primary colors (Red, Green & Blue) are used in order to create white light with LED lamps. You get all the benefits from all the colors used for color therapy. Research has shown this can even increase your vitamin D levels.

Red - Red has been shown to increase energy. Red can also help those suffering with chronic hypotension. Red also activates collagen cells faster than any other color. People find this most effective in stimulating skin and collagen cells to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It energizes all organs and promotes faster healing when used in conjunction with infrared therapy.

Orange - Orange  color  light therapy is traditionally used to stimulate mental activity and induce cheerful emotions. Orange hues can increase energy levels and improve a person's outlook while honoring mental clarity. Consider using Orange if you feel bored or mildly depressed.

Yellow - Yellow color light therapy can be used to help a person feel spiritually grounded while maintaining a positive outlook. It may help individuals feel more optimistic and lighthearted. This color light therapy is also an option for those who tend to take life a little too seriously.

Green - Green is the color of life itself; we depend upon it to feel grounded and calm, Individuals who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder or the "winter blues" may consider using Green to restore a sense of vividness and acceptance.

Blue - Blue is used in color therapy to ease symptoms of Pain, Anxiety and depression. Some research shows Blue cools down inflammation, lowers fevers, helps high blood pressure and relieves bursting headaches. Other research has shown Blue effective in reducing acne, because the Blue lights are killing bacteria,  which is a major source of acne infections.

Purple - Purple color light therapy helps individuals maintain a sense of "mind over matter" when dealing with chronic pain. It is often recommended for neurological pain caused conditions like multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia. This color slows down an over active heart; stimulates the spleen and white blood cells (for better immunity); it promotes a true sense of tranquility; reduces anxiety and detoxifies.
